Belgrade Cafes and Bars
I have compiled for you the cafes/bars that we liked most in terms of design and/or taste during our Belgrade trip. Of course, we visited many places other than these. For more detailed information about the venues and all the places we visited, you can check out my 2021 Belgrade trip & 2017 Belgrade trip articles.
Best Cafes in Belgrade
Poslasticarnica Suma Cafe
Locally recommended and vegan, refined sugar-free, etc. Known for its delicacies, this cafe is especially perfect for those looking for healthy and delicious desserts. It has both exterior and interior space. We chose banana bread and marzipan-forest fruit cake (Sumska Torta) and were pleased. Its naturalness is evident from its taste.

Blaznavac Cafe/Bar
Every corner of this spot is Instagrammable. It is ideal not only for coffee during the day, but also for drinks in the evening. Sewing machines are used as stands, for example, a colorful elephant hangs near the door, and its open area is quite large.
Address: Kneginje Ljubice 18
Sweet’n’Chili
Again, a place worthy of Instagram in every corner, but it is not as popular as Blaznavac. It gives the feeling of a place where you can come and sit and chat for hours or calmly read your book and work. Although its exterior is not as eye-catching as its interior, it gives a pleasant atmosphere with its vintage decoration.
Address: Strahinjica Bana 72a
Savana Cafe (Splav Savana)
This place, which we arrived at after a 20-minute walk along the Danube river from Zemun center, has a floating cafe concept. This cafe with African influences has a wonderful decoration; Masks from Africa were used in the interior design, and the exterior is made of wood. They have tables both inside and outside on the river side.
Address: Kej Oslobođenja 2
Choco Caffe
The desserts of this place, which we visited when we first went to Belgrade 4 years ago, are very delicious, and its hot chocolate is one of the most recommended. Zito was a very light and delicious choice. It has both indoor and outdoor areas.

Best Bars in Belgrade
Boho Bar
Offering a pleasant concept with its bohemian design with outdoor cushions, this bar is the choice of both Belgrade people and tourists. I would say the only downside is that they only accept cash. Let me also point out that they also have concepts such as sunset parties.
Address: Kalemegdanska Terasa
Passengers Bar
It is located in a detached building with a courtyard, away from the street. It has both an interior and exterior section. We saw from the photos that there are also DJ performances in the summer months. We chose nachos and cosmopolitan and were satisfied.
Address: Simina 5
Polet Bar (Cetinska Sokak No: 15)
This area, which creates the feeling of entering a parking lot and which we had no expectations when visiting, hosts pubs and clubs, each with a different concept and design, and almost all of them have both open and closed areas. We preferred Polet, which attracted us with its pleasant design decorated with lights and live music. The drink menu is not very extensive, basic drinks are available but the prices are very affordable.
Address: Cetinjska 15
Ljutic Bar
We could only see this place from the outside because it is opened after 4, but the place in the garden looked very nice. It also serves as a restaurant. I’m adding it in case you want to try it.
