Things to Do in Paris
Chat and Walk Along the Seine River
If you’re someone who loves cities with water flowing through them, you have a chance to enjoy Paris through the Seine River. If you’re willing to spend a bit more, you can take a boat tour on the river, or if you prefer to keep it budget-friendly, you can walk along the river or sit by its banks. Who knows, maybe someone nearby will play the guitar for you.
Walk Around Sacre-Coeur Basilica and Montmartre Streets
This activity is something you’ll want to do on a sunny day. The pleasure of sitting on the steps of Sacre-Coeur or on the grass in front of it, listening to street performers nearby, offers a unique perspective on Paris. The area where Sacre-Coeur is located is called Montmartre. Walking through the narrow, cobblestone streets of Montmartre and watching street artists will add extra joy to your experience.
Chill out at the parks and Gardens
Like many cities in Europe, Paris is not too shabby when it comes to parks and gardens. At the very least, it’s nice to have places where you can sit and take a break. One of the most famous and memorable of these places is the Tuileries Gardens, which stretch between the Louvre and Champs Elysee on Rivoli Street.
Visit the Majestic Notre Dame Cathedral
The Notre Dame Cathedral is one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture, and it’s an incredibly majestic structure. As I mentioned in my article about “Architectural Styles in Tourist Structures,” Gothic architecture creates a profound sense of smallness in the face of religious structures, and Notre Dame does this exceptionally well.
For Museum Lovers: The Endless Louvre Museum
For those who love museums, the Louvre is a unique experience because it seems never-ending. Exploring the museum in its entirety can take more than a day or even several days. Especially if you wait in line to see the Mona Lisa, half your day might be gone before you know it 🙂
Bonus for Young Girls: Abercrombie
While discussing historical and natural beauties, some might wonder where Abercrombie fits in. However, Paris really does have some very handsome young men. For our young ladies, why not open your eyes and hearts? You can find some of these young men at Abercrombie on Champs Elysee and even take photos with some of them. Shopping is just an excuse 🙂
